The im provement is much needed by the resi dents of that neighborhood. II. W. Weber, who is well known-ln this county as the rustling tree sales man who represented the Dulles nursery here for several years, has embarked in the newspaper business at Kendrick, Mit ho. Mr. Weber has had previous ex perience in the journalistic fluid and will no doubt make a success of his ven ture, George Wesson and Rolit. M'Mullen, two well known young men of Alville, were in town Friday. While htre they were pleasant cullers at this office where they attended to the Important New Year's job of having their n nines enter ed on the Globu subscription list. The drill waa pulled from the city well Tuesday morning and the well wat de clared completed. A depth of about 174 feet waa reached with about 106 feet of water, The water shows every Indica tion of being a ttrong stream and it Is believed that the well will furnish an ample tupply of water for the needs of the town for aome time to come.
