James Paul, the infant son of Mr. and Mr. J.' P. Grelner, of Mayville precinct died at The Dalles Friday morning July 5, 1001, aged 8 month and 8 days, of whooping cough, Mr. Grelner went to The Dalles some time ago tor medical treatment and after going there the little one contract ed the disease which caused its death, Mr. Grelner wae summoned to The Dalle about two week ago and remain ed there until the end came. The body wa brought home for interment, burial taking place Saturday afternoon at the Catholic Church yard near Mayville. ..The heart broken parent have the earnest sympathy of a large circle of friend and acquaintance in their and bereavement.
