All teaohers feel that it has been doe to Mr. Watts' careful ; consideration that the sohool has been built op and is now left in a progressive condition. We therefore consider, that the teaohers owe many thanks to Mr. Watts for his qualities and work as a teacher. Carrie Sharp, Mabel Gibbons, Joanita . Kngdahl, Jennie Watts, teaohers. The quiet and unassuming queeus of our homes, our mothers. sisters, wives and sweethearts, or will politics be controlled by the club women? This is not an untried exper iment Foor states have given the ballot to women unconditionally, and alter 80 years of women's voting, pol itics bas not arrived at tbe moral stan dard of our own state, in Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, or Utah. But you say "There are not as many women as men in Wyoming." Yes, but in Utah womeu are. so plentiful that seven or eight of them olub together and keep one. husband between them, and with this numerous company they have not closed the saloons, or closed the brothels, or gambling dens, or purified rolitios. Indeed, there are not foor states in our Union where politics la so oorrunt as in the foot; states where women vote. If yon wish to prevent such condi tions in Oregon, vote "No" on the woman suffrage amendment on June 1st.
