Paraffin hot jam at once Makes about 11 glasses ( ( flulu ounces each.) Rip* Peach and Plum Jelly (J fa k e « about 1 medium glattei) 3 cups juice 4 cups sugar 1 box powdered fru it pectin To p rep are juice, cut in piece’ (do not peel or p it) and crua; about 2 pounds fully ripe peache and 1 pound fully ripe plum«. Ad % cup w ater, bring to a boll, and sim m er, covered. 10 m inutes. Plar fru it In jelly d o th or bag an, squeeze out juice ( If th ere 1« s slight shortage of juice, add small am ount of w ater to pulp In jelly cloth and squeeze again.) M easure sugar Into dry dish and set aside until needed. Measure juice in to a 3- to 4-quart saucepan Place over h o tte st Are. Add pow dered fru it pectin, mix well, and continue stirrin g n n tli m ixture comes to a h ard boll.
