Aside from a five- day period of low fog, we have ex perienced no very disagreeable weather to far this winter. Rainfall has been light, S.5? inches being the total amount up to the present mouth. Colder weather and heavier rainfall may, however, be looked tor at any time. Since the old saying that, "As the days begin to lengthen, the cold begins to strengthen," Is generally fouud to be true, and If we have our usual amount of precip itation this winter, we must have about 20 Inches added to the above amount er this season closes. Slowly but surely the fascinations of the southern Oregon country are leading muny tu chose It for their "all the year round" residence, and all who study more closely the prob lem of climatic conditions are In evitably led to see something very attractive about the particular spot upon which the city of Grants Pass has been located.
