This levy upon $3,261,065, the as sessed value of the district, will pro duce $27,719, a little less than the nine mills last year produced. The revenues of the district from all oth er sources will be $15,470, making a total of $43,189, with which to meet the estimated expense of $43, 040. At tho meeting there developed a good deal of support for a levy at least as large as that of last year to meet any contingency that might arise in tho way of needed repairs or improvements, of the necessity engaging teaching force. Others 1 favored an eight mill levy, and a 'compromise between the two figures was finally agreed upon. The estimated resources and ex penses of the district for the year iare as follows: !
