A woman reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole an iPod, small bag and backpack and scattered around items from her glove box. • Shoplifting, 10 p.m. July 25, Walmart. John Hugh Thomp- son, 45, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft and Jessie A. Hart, 30, of Astoria was cited for criminal trespassing after Thompson allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $13 in batteries. Aaro, 50, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $30 worth of pens and a makeup bag. • Employee theft, 11:21 p.m. July 27, Walmart. After an internal investigation into potential theft by a night-shift employee, police were called to arrest Ray L. Andrews, 64, of Warrenton on suspicion of second-degree theft of approximately $600 worth of merchandise since January. • Shoplifting, 5:52 p.m. July 28, Walmart. Greenfield, 48, of Long Beach, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxi- cants. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where her blood-al- cohol level was recorded at 0.16 percent. • Two-vehicle hit-and-run collision, no injuries, 3:15 p.m. July 23, South Main Avenue at Southeast 10th Street. Loren D. Schneider, 67, of Ocean Park, Wash., was cited for failing to perform the duties of a driver. • Hit-and-run collision, two minor injuries, 5:58 p.m. July 24, Ensign Lane near Astoria Ford. Steven Craig Jensen, 41, no known address, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, reckless driving, driving without insurance and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.32 percent. Two people in the Toyota FJ Cruiser he struck complained of pain. • Hit-and-run collision, 11:10 a.m. July 25, Warrenton Com- munity Center parking lot. Daniel J.
