broke into her vehicle and stole
an iPod, small bag and backpack
and scattered around items
from her glove box.
• Shoplifting, 10 p.m. July 25,
Walmart. John Hugh Thomp-
son, 45, of Seaside was cited for
third-degree theft and Jessie A.
Hart, 30, of Astoria was cited
for criminal trespassing after
Thompson allegedly attempted
to leave the store without paying
for $13 in batteries. Hart had
previously been trespassed from
all Walmart properties.

Walmart. Eric Wayne Ransom,
27, of Warrenton was cited
for third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the

arrested on suspicion of driving
under the influence of intoxi-
cants. She was booked at Clatsop
County Jail, where her blood-al-
cohol level was recorded at 0.16
percent.

Schneider, 67, of Ocean Park,
Wash., was cited for failing to
perform the duties of a driver.
• Hit-and-run collision, two
minor injuries, 5:58 p.m. July
24, Ensign Lane near Astoria
Ford. Steven Craig Jensen, 41,
no known address, was arrested
on suspicion of hit-and-run,
reckless driving, driving without
insurance and driving under the
influence of intoxicants. He was
booked at Clatsop County Jail
where his blood-alcohol content
was recorded at 0.32 percent.
