Sena, 44, of Salem was cited for third-de- gree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $79 in camp- ing equipment, bug repellant and clothes. • Shoplifting, 9:01 p.m. May 11, Walmart. Jos-Lee Hayes, 47, of Rockaway Beach, was cited for third-degree theft and crimi- nal mischief after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $73 in batter- ies, makeup and miscellaneous merchandise. • Burglary, 4:37 p.m. May 14, near Galena and Eighth streets. Someone broke open a door to an outbuilding. • Disturbance, 5:25 p.m. May 8, Fred Meyer bus stop. A man was throwing shopping carts, yelling and acting violently. The subject told police he was picking up a cart he’d knocked over and was waiting for a bus to his campsite off Highway 202. • Fight involving a large group, 10:09 p.m. May 12, Warrenton Mini Mart parking lot. Distur- bance involved a group of 10 teenagers fighting over property being exchanged between a male and his former girlfriend. The 19-year-old woman had poured coffee on his pickup, kicked the door and broke a license plate cover. All the teens were warned about disorderly conduct statutes and the former couple agreed to a civil compromise over damage to the vehicle. Kent Jay Melton, 39, of Centerville, Wash., was cited for hit and run/failure to perform the duties of a driver. • Traffic stop, 12:33 a.m. May 4, Ensign Lane at Highway 101. Amanda Elaine David, 21, of As- toria was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and for failing to install an ignition interlock de- vice. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where her blood-al- cohol content was recorded at 0.20 percent. • Traffic stop, 2:08 p.m. May 6, Harbor and Neptune drives. Mark S. Hippensteel, 32, of Astoria was cited for failing to carry and present a license, driv- ing while suspended and driving without insurance. • Vehicle into parked car, 3:18 p.m. May 6, Main Street Market parking lot. • Traffic stop, 4:16 p.m. May 6, Harbor Drive at Highway 101.
