station. A man reports some-
one opened a Verizon Wireless
account in his name and used
$1,633 in services.
• Shoplifting, 7 p.m. May 10,
Walmart. Ernestine N. Sena, 44,
of Salem was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $79 in camp-
ing equipment, bug repellant
and clothes.
• Shoplifting, 9:01 p.m. May 11,
Walmart. Jos-Lee Hayes, 47, of
Rockaway Beach, was cited for
third-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $73 in batter-
ies, makeup and miscellaneous
merchandise.
• Burglary, 4:37 p.m. May 14,
near Galena and Eighth streets.
A man reported someone stole a
500-pound bronze boat propel-
ler valued at $9,500.

Someone damaged a handi-
capped restroom door.

Someone broke open a door to
an outbuilding.
• Disturbance, 5:25 p.m. May 8,
Fred Meyer bus stop. A man was
throwing shopping carts, yelling
and acting violently. The subject
told police he was picking up a
cart he’d knocked over and was
waiting for a bus to his campsite
off Highway 202.
• Fight involving a large group,
10:09 p.m. May 12, Warrenton
Mini Mart parking lot. Distur-
bance involved a group of 10
teenagers fighting over property
being exchanged between a male
and his former girlfriend. The
19-year-old woman had poured
coffee on his pickup, kicked
the door and broke a license
plate cover. All the teens were
warned about disorderly conduct
statutes and the former couple
agreed to a civil compromise
over damage to the vehicle.

39, of Centerville, Wash., was
cited for hit and run/failure to
perform the duties of a driver.

Amanda Elaine David, 21, of As-
toria was arrested on suspicion
of driving under the influence
of intoxicants and for failing to
install an ignition interlock de-
vice. She was booked at Clatsop
County Jail, where her blood-al-
cohol content was recorded at
0.20 percent.

Harbor and Neptune drives.
Mark S. Hippensteel, 32, of
Astoria was cited for failing to
carry and present a license, driv-
ing while suspended and driving
without insurance.

6, Harbor Drive at Highway
101. Eddie William Davenport,
42, of Astoria was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the
influence of intoxicants/drugs
and cited for driving while sus-
pended.

Street. Driver cited for going 64
in a 35 mph zone.
• Two-vehicle collision, 2:33 p.m.
May 7, 1600 block Ensign Lane.
One driver was cited for follow-
ing too closely. A passenger in
the car that was struck was taken
to Columbia Memorial Hospital
with leg pain.
