A woman in dark clothing was caught by store security stealing from a recycle bin behind the store, but she escaped. Later, a patrolling officer detained a man who’d broken into the bin. He was detained, but a responsible party for the store could not be con- tacted and he was released. • Theft, 9:35 p.m. May 10, behind Costco. The driver of a Porsche stopped for a flagger and the log truck was unable to stop in time. • Vehicle vs log truck, two in- juries, 1:14 p.m. May 10, 1300 block South Main Avenue.
