in dark clothing was caught by
store security stealing from a
recycle bin behind the store, but
she escaped. Later, a patrolling
officer detained a man who’d
broken into the bin. He was
detained, but a responsible party
for the store could not be con-
tacted and he was released.
• Theft, 9:35 p.m. May 10, behind
Costco. Patrick Ray Carlson, 29,
of Warrenton was arrested on
suspicion of petty theft and re-
leased, pending a court hearing.
• Stolen bicycle, 8:07 p.m. May
11, 1000 block Southwest Main
Court. A bicycle was stolen off
the back porch.

truck was unable to stop in time.
