Inspect diagnostic needs and make minor and major modifications. Fabricate special parts and welds as required, including acetylene, wire and electrode. Welds should be fillet, hori- zontal or vertical types; does related work as required. Screening Requirements: High school education or equiv- alency preferably supplemented with additional training in auto- motive and diesel mechanics. Three years’ experience as a mechanic or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the above described duties. Necessary Special Qualifica- tions: Possess a valid Class-B Oregon Commercial Driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an Oregon Class-A CDL within 6 months of employment, and must be insurable under the county’s liability insurance cov- erage. Must pass a pre-employ- ment drug test.
