Historical Data HOLLIDAY PIT AND NAUMANN PIT STOCKPILE AGGREGATE PROJECT Sealed bids for the “Holliday and Naumann Stockpile Aggregate Project” will be received by the Grant County Road Department until 2:00 P.M. local time on July 18st, 2019. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the above time and date at the Grant County Road Department Conference Room, 27941 Lower Yard Road, John Day, Oregon. Bids will later be reviewed by the Road Department office for compliance and a recommendation made to the Grant County Contract Review Board for approval. The point of contact for this procurement will be the Road Master, Alan Hickerson. All questions or issues that may arise regarding bidding, bid award process, or specifications shall be directed to the Road Master or Project Engineer. Transferred IN, from other funds 6 OTHER RESOURCES The work consists of the following construction: Schedule ‘A’ Holliday Quarry, is the production of 10,000 cubic yards of surface gravel 3/4” minus, 5,000 cubic yards of 1 1/2” minus, 5,000 cubic yards of 3/8” sanding rock, 5,000 cubic yards of 1/2” chip seal rock, 5,000 cubic yards of 3/8” chip seal rock and 2,500 1/4-10 oil rock, stockpiled at the specified locations. The contractor is responsible for all the labor, equipment, and materials needed for drilling, blasting, crushing, hauling, traffic control, water hauling, pol- lution and erosion control necessary to produce this product. Schedule ‘B’ Naumann Quarry, is the production of 10,000 cubic yards of surface gravel ¾” minus, and 3,000 cubic yards of 6” jaw run, stockpiled at the specified locations.. Contractor is to improve the stockpile location by placing some of the 6” jaw run, to level and improve the base of the stockpile. The contractor is responsible for all the labor, equipment, and materials needed for drilling, blasting, crushing, hauling, traffic control, water hauling, pol- lution and erosion control necessary to produce this product. Bidders may bid on one or both bid schedules.
