Some walked with family and friends, including fur- ry friends, supporting Blue Mountain Hospital Home Health and Hospice. Organizer Sylvia Ross, who is director of Home Health and Hospice, said they went with a Cinco de Mayo theme because the event fell on May 5. Eleven-year-old Grant Hall of John Day, the young- est half marathon runner, said this was his third time running one. Participants could choose between running or bicycling 13 miles from Prairie City, 6 miles from Pine Creek Road, 4 miles from the old weigh station near Dog Creek Road or 1.5 miles from the Seventh Street Complex. The youngest participant was 2-month-old Ellie Jacobs, riding as her mother, Jenny, pushed her in a stroller. The oldest participant was Virgin-
