SATURDAY, APRIL 7 • 11 a.m., John Day Fire Department The John Day Volunteer Fire Department’s annual egg hunt will offer egg coloring at 11 a.m., at the John Day Fire Department, to decorate eggs for the following day’s Easter egg hunt. Almost Spring bazaar • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Keerins Hall, Grant County Fair- grounds Vendors will be on hand with an array of items for sale: crafts, home decor, collectibles and more. SATURDAY, MARCH 31 Bunny Hop 5K run/walk • 8 a.m., Dayville Registration is at 8 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m. Partic- ipants can park at Dayville School for bus transportation to the starting line on South Fork Road. The route will end at Dayville City Park. The cost is $10 per person. The Buddy Award, $50 cash, will be given to the winner of the 0- to 13-year-old group who completes the race on their own legs. Saints Eleven concert • 7:30 p.m., Madden Brothers Performing Arts Center, 116 NW Bridge St., John Day Saints Eleven’s music is billed as a mix of genres, from country to blues to rock. Easter egg hunts • 10 a.m., Mt. Vernon City Park Prior to the Mt. Vernon Volunteer Fire Department’s annual hunt, a free community breakfast by Living Word Christian Center will be available at the Mt. Vernon Com- munity Hall from 7-9:30 a.m., and fire truck rides will start at 9 a.m. The fire department is accepting donations for the egg hunt until the day of the event. Vernon at 541-932-4688. • 10:30 a.m., Dayville City Park Following the Bunny Hop 5K, egg hunts for children in four age divisions will be held. Age divisions range from infant to sixth grade.
