Mr. Corey visited Newberg friends and rela tives the latter part of last week. It Is reported that the drillers who are putting down the oil well south of St. Paul, have the well down about 400 feet and have passed through some very pleasing Indications. How ever, they did not stop to examine any of these but are pushing on down to depth where they hope to en counter the real oil. Carl and Barney Qroth, who have operated the Qroth Electric company business as a partnership for some time past, have dissolved partner ship, Barney Qroth retaining t)»e en tire business and Carl retiring from the firm.
