The school children are looking forward to a Jolly time on May Day when Pleasant View, District 74, ' will visit District 92 and the after noon will be spent in playing games and other ¿childish diversions. This Friday a game is scheduled with Fernwood. One hundred and two attended the surprise party given Mr. and Mrs. Kane Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Woodworth. They were very much surprised. The evening was spent playing games and in ainglng. Theae two plane* are made very beautiful by the brilliant dis play of flowera in the yards. Both Mrs. Lemon arid Mrs. Newhouse are great lovers of tha beautiful, and are never so happy as when caring for their flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Tollman left on Monday for their eastern trip. We are sorry to lose this excellent couple from our community but wish them a^pleaaant Journey and hope they may decide to again lo cate in Springbrook on their return. A farewell reception was given them last Tuhrsday evening at the. beautiful home c f Mr. and Mrs. Wendell.
