The June number, showing the deposits in the banks o f the West Side counties, gives figures that will be o f interest to residents o f Yamhill, as our banks lead in the totals given,as will be seen by the following: Yamhill is credited with 10 banks whose deposits amount to $1,735,407. Washing ton is credited with 6 banks whose deposits amount to $1,271,834. Polk is credited with 5 banks whose deposits amount to $969, 683. Benton is credited with i banks whose deposits amount to $967,271. Tillamook is credited with 3 banks whose deposits amount to 446,081. Lincoln is credited with 2 banks whose de posits amount to $152,71L Yearly Meeting. Harvey D. Crumly was elected principal clerk, with Mrs. R. W. Smith, recording clerk, Mrs. Mabel Douglas, reading clerk and R a y Pemberton, announcing clerk. The opening sermon was preached by Rev. Josiah Dillon, o f A l v a , Oklahoma. O t h e r ministers and workers present from a distance are Geo. L. Carr, Greensboro, N. C., Esther Cook, New Castle, Indiana, Chas. E. Tebbetts and wife, Richmond, Indiana, E. G. Pearson, Mount ain View, Idaho, Sarah Kelsey, Western Springs, Illinois, Mrs. Nannie Arnold, Whittier, Cali fornia, Mrs. Rebecca Naylor, Berkeley, California, Edgar T. Hole. Ohio, Robert Root, Los Angeles, California. Business will be held both in the forenoon and afternoon o f each day during the week, with devotional services at night o f Mr. Carter as he was a good man, a friend to all.
