In a few weeks the horticultur al and farm papers w ill have a foil list o f awards together with the conditions of competition. Do not lose sight o f the fact that this is one o f the very best places at which you can do good work tor your locality. Thousands w ill visit the fruit .exhibit and will gather from it a far better opinion o f your prod ucts than it is possible to obtain from any amount o f printed mat ter. As an educational event there has never been any occasion in the northwest to approach it in comprehensiveness. The asso ciation had a grand time at Van couver last year, the best up to that date. This year the asso ciation is a year older and in con sequence must be bigger, better and entitled to greater respect. This is the most comprehensive organization o f its kind on the continent and Portland is going to entertain the visiting dele gates in a style befitting their rank and their glorious occupa tion.
