Newberg Oregon January Umbrellas The meeting o f the State Press Association which was held in Portland on Friday and Satur day ot last week, was the most representative body of Oregon newspaper men ever held in the state. The attendance was by far the best everjhdd at a state meeting o f the press, the pro gram was carried out to ¿he letter without a single failure, and the vim and vigor displayed in all the semions indicated the new spirit that prevails among the members. One ot the most pleasing features o f the meeting w as the reception given at the residence o f Dr. Henry Waldo Coe, the corresponding secretary. The election o f officers resulted as follows: J. S. Dellinger, Daily Astorian, president; George Put nam. Medford Tribune, vice pres ident; George Schibird, Union Republican, recording secretary; A. D.
