Association which was held in
Portland on Friday and Satur
day ot last week, was the most
representative body of Oregon
newspaper men ever held in the
state. The attendance was by
far the best everjhdd at a state
meeting o f the press, the pro
gram was carried out to ¿he
letter without a single failure,
and the vim and vigor displayed
in all the semions indicated the
new spirit that prevails among
the members. One ot the most
pleasing features o f the meeting
w as the reception given at the
residence o f Dr. Henry Waldo
Coe, the corresponding secretary.
