He dwelt on the povfer of the distinctive college as- sociationshipa and their beneficial ef fects upon young lives He emphasized the value of college friendships and of the influence of the consecrated profes sor. The habit formed in college of proper reading is a far reaching one. In short the effect and value of the training received in college is inestimable.
