The evening was given up to the ad dress of welcome and the responses. Thursday was taken up w ith the re porta of the various superintendents un til at 3 p. ro. ail work was laid aside an 1 a touching memorial service was held in honor of Miss W illard. Friday morning Die nam es of superin tendents for the coming year were read and the officers elected as follows : Presl le n t, Mrs. K inney; Mrs. Foster, vici president; Mrs. K ern, recording sec’y ; Mrs. Slmne, treasu rer; Mrs. Cornelius. I,. T. L. secretary; Miss Buslinell, Y. secretary. In the afternoon the closing husines» was attended to, comm ittees reported, various questions were discussed etc. In the evening a very largo audience m ine together to hear M rs. K inney's lecture upon “ The aeeret of n successful life.” Mrs. Kinney was at her best and her voice was often Inst in the e n th u siastic applutiso ni the vast audience. At the close of her lecture the motion for adjournm ent w»s made by Mrs. I.. A. P. W hite who lias been engaged in the W .C.T.D . work longer than any one in th e state.
