We do no sight-seesng of any kind on Sunday, but as we reachad Stirling Saturday morning, we bad time for some shopping and to visit the Cas tle and famous battlegrounds, and so were ready to Btarl for Glasgow via. the Trosgarks. Stirling Caatle is a fine one, and very interesting Poor Qneen Mary spent many weary months there. You have a wonderful view from some of the castle towers. COUNTY, OREGON, W E D N E S D A Y , see the real country life. I saw a laughable sight in Dublin the other day. A ragged, little hoy had started to drive one of these rediculous, little beasts across one of the crowded thorough fares, and the thing became inter ested in something; stopped in the middle of a car track and could not be persuaded to move. In the mean time cars had come along from both directions, and with other vehicles waited till the mule made up its’ mind to move on. Finally a man took hold of it and dragged it Moros 8 . Friday night at Myrtle Point oc curred the last session of the Annu al Institute for the teachers of Coos county, held at that place Aug. 18, 19 and 20. There were about 100 teachers in attendance who seemed to be very much in earnest and thoroughly interested in the lec tures. There was an unusually good set of instructors ¡iresent— Supt.
