Christians Seat Church Officers Officers of the Coquille Chris tian church for the year 1949 who were recently installed, by the pastor, Rev. Earl Soward, are elders, Jacob Moomaw, Don Farr, Everett Wolgamott, Henry George and Paul Simpson; deacons, El- wyn Nosier, John Boots, Harold McCue, Arthur Towne, Dick Barklow, John Shilling, Ray Ol son, Earl Duncan, Bruce Purdy, and Cedric Cross; trustees, Ev erett Wolgamott, Paul Simpson, and Henry George. The annual pastor's report showed that Mr. Soward had con ducted 92 regular services, nine special services and assisted with eight services during the year. He ' had conducted 14 funerals, and 17 , weddings, and had made 725 per- j sonal calls, travelling 12,859 miles by car. ! The Sunday school report showed that the average attend ance during the year had been ! 158.96.
