Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Cruckshank re­
turned Tuesday from Portland where
they had gone last Saturday to attend
a reunion of Mrs. Cruckshank's family
on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Harberd, who
left here in 1932 when J. E. Axtell
purchased the Title Guarantee & Ab­
stract Co., came in Monday and left
for their home in central Idaho on
Tuesday. They were on a vacation;
trip and noted many changes in Co­
quille since their last visit here five*
years ago. Mrs Harberd'« parents,'
Mr. and Mrs. Gray, who were asso­
ciated with Mr. Harberd in the ab-
tract business here, have both passed
away since leaving here.
Mrs. L. M. McPherson, who had

Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Lenmhan and
Michael and Peter, of Pasadena, who
parked their trailer in the Wernich
orchard, left Monday for a few days'
fishing on the Rogue before going on

Wemichs for four days. They have
been on a six weeks' trailer trip
through the Northwest.
Mr and Mrs. M. H. Shelley, Jr.,
are enjoying a visit from Mrs. Shel­
ley’s sister, Miss Doris Hilscher of
Spokane, who arrived here Tuesday
from California to visit for a week
before returning home.
