THRU THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK Coquille Eagles At the pre-state convention meet ing held at Roseburg last week, Co quille Aerie, F. O. E., No. 219«, made a commendable showing by having the largest delegation of any aerie in attendance. In addition to this, they had the largest number of candidates to put through the paces, with the exception of Roseburg. The fact that Camas mountain was covered with snow and reports of stalled cars persisted in drifting in, the local aerie members hesitated not, but pointed their cars toward Rose burg. After all, it takes awfully tough weather to stop an Eagle in flight. The meeting last Thursday evening was well attended and proved very enjoyable. Roy Wheeler, John Wertij and Austin Kyle were all present in a body for the first time in several meetings. They are three old stand bys who seldom have missed meet ings regularly. When such membere miss, their absence is especially no-; •ticeable. * Always active, the local aerie is laying plans for various campaigns in the future for the good of the community and of mankind. Next Thursday evening is social night. A big program is in the offing and, of course as always, there will be plenty of eats. In fact, the aerie is fast becoming renowned for its social nights throughout southwest ern Oregon. So come out and enjoy yourselves, Brothers!—Press Cor.
