Ls When one desires a particular job done, be what It may, he seeks out a person whose reputation for honest conscientious work has been proved. This is the reason that many of the difficult and exacting painting and Interior decorating jobs of business buildings and homes in Coquille have fallen to the lot of D. L. Cox during the past 10 or more yean. A Texan by birth, Mr. Cox learned his trade in the south while still a very young man, and where he was taught to give his very best efforts to any undertaking attempted, even to doing more than he contracted or was expected to do. For several years Mr. Cox had the annual con tract for “doing ever” the Interior of the Coquille Hotel, and among some of his latest and most exact ing contracts have been the homes of Tom Denison and R. T. Slater. The latter is one of the newest and finest homes in Coquille, and every one who has inspected the interior finishings of walls and woodwork have marveled at the artistry displayed by Mr. Cox, with such telling effect.
