Walter Huff is having a five room, modern house built on his lots op posite C. street. This is a lively week for Myrtle Point. Tuesday, C. H. Alton’s circus, 21 trucks of wild animals, Cuban ponies, dogs, goats, etc. appeared in the city. Then Wednesday, Thurs day, Friday and Saturday the annual Coos and Curry County Fair. The crowds that are in town from day to day give evidence that the attendance at ‘the fair will be the largest ever. George Guerin and Charley Haines returned Saturday from a trip into the Eckley country. * Mr. and Mrs. Deyoe and three daughters, Mr. and Mrs. |£erle Ken yon, Miss Betty Luttrell and Mies Hickman picnicked on the Bandon beach Sunday. Several new houses are under con stduction in and near Myrtle Point. E. F. Hoffmans are building a new house on their farm near the Hoffman bridge. Walter Huff Unbuilding and E. C. Barker has started the erection of a modern six-room house on his lots on Fourth street. 'v ' ■ - ;__ Rev. and Mrs. Ostrander, of Gold Beach, have moved here to make their home. Mr. Ostrander will have , charge of the Presbyterian church for the coming year. ■ They will occupy the manse. M t . and Mrs. Edward Roland, of Oakland, California, arrived Monday for a few days* visit at the home of- Thbs. Guerin. « R. Gray and son, C. H. Gray, of Spokane, are visiting relatives and, friends in Myrtle Point this week. Joe Ststta, of Corvallis, is visiting his uncle, Charley Haires, this week Oliver Clarke, son of Dr. and Mrs. O. H. Clarke, and Miss Edna May Drake were married at the Methodist church Monday.
