This is a lively week for Myrtle
Point. Tuesday, C. H. Alton’s circus,
21 trucks of wild animals, Cuban
ponies, dogs, goats, etc. appeared in
the city. Then Wednesday, Thurs
day, Friday and Saturday the annual
Coos and Curry County Fair.
The
crowds that are in town from day to
day give evidence that the attendance
at ‘the fair will be the largest ever.

returned Saturday from a trip into
the Eckley country. *

E. F. Hoffmans are building a new
house on their farm near the Hoffman
bridge. Walter Huff Unbuilding and
E. C. Barker has started the erection
of a modern six-room house on his

Beach, have moved here to make
their home. Mr. Ostrander will have
, charge of the Presbyterian church for
the coming year. ■ They will occupy
