The average July there has given less than an inch (99-100) of rain. August has been bona dry for two y e a n at the six and has only av eraged two tenths at an inch. Those are the two m onths'in which Oregon people bank on fair weather. Last year, there w e n four months with ices than an inch of rain, Feb ruary aad May in addition to the reg ular dry months.
