Leonard waa a pioneer of Josephine county, having' settled in the Holland section In tha early days, and teaching school at Alt bouse as early aa 1865. She was a woman of education and well versed In law. She ia aurvived by four sons. Lawrence, Leo, Prank and Raphael, the latter son living on the ' horn place with his mother, and daugh ter, Mrs. Milton Lewis of Taklla.
