Mrs. Mary Ellen Leonard, aged
about 72 year. '
Mra. Leonard waa a pioneer of
Josephine county, having' settled in
the Holland section In tha early
days, and teaching school at Alt
bouse as early aa 1865. She was a
woman of education and well versed
In law. She ia aurvived by four sons.
Lawrence, Leo, Prank and Raphael,
the latter son living on the ' horn
place with his mother, and daugh
ter, Mrs. Milton Lewis of Taklla.
The funeral will be held this after
noon at the home on Sucker creek,
with Interment In the Kerby L O. O.
F. cemetery, beside the remain of
her husband.
