The children and parents have done well their part in gathering material for the “ Baby Home” and “ Boys and Girls Aid” of Portland. Almost a ton of ma terial was sent o f which a follow ing is a part: 180 qts. canned fruit, 3 sacks o f potatoes, 5 box es o f apples, 30 gal. o f kraut, 2o glasses o f jelly, several sacks of pumpkins and squashes. Also dried fruit, canned goods, and a large box of good clothing, cloth, etc. This will surely make some hearts glad, and we know it has made many happy to give to the needy. :-- v U The 2nd and 3rd grades have collected twenty one variety o f seeds.
