Miss Bertha Ward, of Tekamah, Nebraska, who came to Oregon about three years ago for the benefit of her health and lived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Gates, of Foiest Grove, died at her home in Nebraska, July 14. She was 23 years of age and leaves many friends to regret her untimely demise.
