Cleland, court commissioner. Samuel Carr, Walter C. Oakman and Henry G. Nicholls, representing the reorganize- tion committee, purchased the property for $5,447,500. The Utah Southern road was bid in by the same parties foi $708,000. They also purchased the Utah Southern extension, for $975,000. W. H. Bancroft w ill be general man ager of the company. The transfer of the Oregon Short Line & Utah Northern, with property lying in five of the Western states, waf of great interest to railroad men in the intermountain country.
