The pie social was a success financially, but we can’t understand how some knew which pie belonged to one of the teachers. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Douglass and family o f Hood River spent the week end wiith the Ward Douglass family. Grover and Ward are brothers. Mrs. G. D. Grace and Mrs. E. E. Grace and children o f Portland spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Douglass. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Beal, and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Beal o f Indepen dence spent the week end with the Lester Hale family. Miss Edna Olsen o f Canby spent the week end with her sister, Miss Lillian Olsen, one o f the teachers in the Currinsville school. Mr. and Mrs. C. G.
