Bruin regarded the party with a juspicious eye and could hardly be convinced that a Ford ear really had come through the drifts. It had been a long time since his rest had been disturbed by a motor car. Sufficient time was spent at the hotel to view Mt. Hood, which from this point can hardly be recognized the cone-shaped peak so famil ia pictures. Mrs. H. H.
