ROIL OF HONOD Still The Bullets Fly Estacada State Bank Unless the 22 rifles and the kids behind them are rounded up soon. Estacadians will be forced to wear helmets and bullet proof clothing. John Miller of Estacada is the latest complainant, with a bullet hole through his window, as evi dence of the carelessness of some youthful shooter. John didn’t happen to be in juxtaposition to said hole at the time of the shot, or he might have been seriously injured. J. Morrison. Mr. Hess and family, a year or so ago, resided in Dover. John Kreiger purchased a horse in Portland last week. Hugh Fitzgerald, who has sold his farm in Dover, has purchased a house and lot in Sandy, where he will make his future home. Supervisor Udell and George Kitzmiller have repaired the Ex on road, where the recent Hood washed away the corduroy. In a recent letter, Joe tells of the true Southern hospitality and expects shortly to “ cross the pond’’ for either France or Italy. Tom Morton, of Estacada, Alaska and later of Portland is now enlisted and located in Tex as. Tom had expected to return to his station with the Bureau of Fisheries at Yes Bay, Alaska the first of the year, but enlisted in the Aviation Service instead.
