SCHMIDT It was decided by the petitioners in Estacada for a recall against the Mayor and Councilmen that owing to the delay in the review case against the Mayor and City Couucil they would not wait until it was definitely settled by the Court who was Recorder but proceed with the recall and election. As they re cognize Johnson to be the Recorder he was requested to post the notices for the recall as well as those for the general city election on June the 8th at once. Accordingly the notices were posted late Saturday night calling for a special election to lie held in the citv on Saturday the 15th day of May 1909, and the regular city clectiou June 8th.
