School Notes The Thanksgiving vacation beginning November 19th and ending the 28th was broken into because the teachers could not get away to institute as prear ranged. The school authorities thought it best to hold school Tuesday and Wednesday. The last Literary meeting prov j ed a success. The music wasi enjoyed by all, especially the song by four girls, which in the chorus two girls whistler. The Orchestra numbers were enjoyed as. usual. The reading numbers given were rendered well and were loudly applauded. At the meeting of the Liter ary November 18 it was voted by the ladies of .the community presetot to place the Maupin Student Body in charge of Christ mas exercises. At the regular meeting of the Iaupin Student Body Tuesday, November 20th various committees necessary for preparations for a successful and entertaining Christmas pro gram were appointed. The so liciting committee consists of Vera Tunison, Corrine Temple and Nyle Tunison.
