Not Welcomed by Prune Growers, Tomato Fnrmen or Hop Men The first rain In a month be gan curly last evening und had the appearance of lusting a greater part or tho night, although It was not henvy. It is the time of tho equinox and storms are always ex pected at thla season. Tho prune harvest has barely been started but the growers havo been gathering to matoes for n month nnd havo been looking for some time pnst tor a rain to put a crimp In their prof its.
