R. Johnston Is appointed by the hoard of directors. Mr&. Stewart of Tacoma Dies Here Mrs. .Tane Stewart, of Tacoma, Wash., died Wednesday morning. August 21, at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. -K. Thurston, 0H7 Hilyard street, at the age of 77 years. Mrs. Stewart is a member of the First Presbyterian church, of Tacoma, ami a member of the degree of honor, of Tmt!0, Waah. Mrs. Stewart is survived hr one daughter, Mrs. J. If. Nichols, of Tacoma, and one son, W. J. Stewart, of Seattle.
