Offloes Leated The Peterson and McCuIlj real es tate firm has tuken an eight-year lease on the Central Offices on Broadway west, owned by the McMorran and Waahburne company. A number of other firms have offices in the Cen tral Offices, but the real estate com pany will occupy the larger part of the space shortly before the first of January. The present office of the firm at 632 Willamette street will be retained also for a time. Sluslaw Chamber to Meet The Siuslaw chamber of commerce will (five a no-host luncheon and vaudeville Saturday, Dec. 15, at Kyle hall, Florence, for chamber members and family. Each family will take a covered dish and sandwiches suffi cient for its needs, also cups, forks and spoons. Luncheon will be at 11:31) a. m., with program following, according to J. C. Ponsler, secretary. This is the first annual chamber "jamboree." Farm Is Sold A farm of 362 acres belonging to the Haynes estate, situated seven miles north of Coburg, has been sold to J. H. lery of Eugene, involving approximately $20,000 cash. Peterson and McCully, real estate company of Eugene, made the deal. MR. Holt Away J. O. Holt, manager of the Eugene Fruit Growers' association, left Wed nesday morning for Hoseburg to at tend the meeting of the State Horti cultural society. He will be back Friday. Meeting is Cancelled The December meeting of the Frances WUlard Parent-Teacher as sociation has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held in January. Close Goodpasture Road William J. James,' superintending cunsti'uUion of the road to Goodpas ture Island, obtained an order clos ing the road to traffic from the coun ty court Thursday. Club Plans Meeting V The Kugene 800 club is to have a Christmas party Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the chamber of com merce rooms. A Christmas tree will be a feature of the meeting.
