GOD PERMITTED ME TO OREGON COME HERE TO ' Wonderful, beautiful, heart winning Oregon, where 1 all men and women should be happy aud thankful ' for hundreds of blessings. Of course there are dis ' .appointments here as elsewhere because God made 1 this world so that men and women would meet with 1 enough of the dissapointments to make them ap 1 predate the blessings. i To have everything just as one desired it would tend i to make man forget the one who sent those blessings, i Some men and women believe that money, just mon , py, wipes out all the grief and worry in this world, , But friend I want to tell you and I know, that money , is but the beginner of a man's troubles in the world. , Money, of course is essential but money just money , alone to have as much of itas one desired would not make the average man or woman happy. IHE MAN AND WIFE WHO SIT IN THEIR OWN ' HOME He with his ".limmie Pipe" well lit up, his slippers on and his daily newspaper in his hand. A good wholesome meal just finished and he satisfied that he has done a good day's work; she with her fancy sewing and her rocking chair and the "Kiddies' rolling around the floor. That's happiness, happi ness that some of us are denied and happiness that some of us do not appreciate when we really have it. To just own the home you live in, to feel that vou are independent of the landlord, to feel that when vou go out and fix up the lawn that you are not adding to the wealth of someone else who does not appre ciate it and forgets your work when the rent comes due, to feel that you are master of your own house. A! friend, that is the great happines that God in tended us to really enjoy. TO WORK FOR THAT HAPPINESS IS WHAT MAN'S JOY SHOULD BE To win -some woman's admiration and affection, to mkt ! some one woman, "The one woman in all the I I"',0.'"1 of lliui to make his and her children proud of hint, that should be the jov and world's ore ot every man and when he has accomplished mt i "ffS' hfc f0r him wi" indficct be filled with g eal nPPiness and the joy of life?
