It Is quite probable that the I season will be full, considering tho . number of possible games. In addi tion to the 12 conference games will j be many others, including three prob able games with Eastern teams. A letter was received today from Wash i Inston High school, asking to be al ! lotted to play the University team at Eugene. This game will probably be arranged, and a two days' trip will probably be offered by arranging a 'second game with the Eugene High school which has a very creditable team this year, in spite of the fact that yesterday Jt was defeated some aa points in a practice game with the varsity. The first contest with an Eastern team will probably be with the Portage. Wisconsin, team, hold ers of the A. A. U. championship, and who played Pullman Wednesday. Ail all-star team from Hamilton, Wiscon sin, touring the coast, has also naked fur a game, which will doubtless be played. Another Wisconsin team, which Is now In California, will also play in Eugene. The varsity, on Its trip to Wash ington, will play Whitman February S and 7; Idaho, February S and 9; Pullman. February 10 and 1-1.
