This is the time of year when the newspapers, so frequently worried by lack of advertising, are taxed to their utmost to han dle the holiday business that is offered. Last Saturday The Guard was forced to decline several pages of advertising matter beoause it was not prepared to handiest on short notice. Next Saturday, however, we, will print extra pages enough to carry the business, if the copy is sent in early enough to get it set up. We will try our best to take care of our patrons during the next ten days if they will aid us by bringing copy in early.
