SAMPSON ARRESTED FOR .: STEALING A REVOLVER This afternoon a fellow giving the name of Sampson and claiming to be a waiter by trade and- hailing from San Francisco, was arrested by Sheriff Harry Bown for the theft of a revolver. Sampson stayed At the Matlock lodging house last night. - The story he tells is that after getting up this morning he met a man on the street who wanted to sell him a revolver. He says he told the man he would take it and sent him to the room in the Matlock house to eet the money "under the pillow.
