Curt on File O. H. SPENCER, Manager Many people have suggested that tlu1 warehouses on the S. P. depot grounds in this city be painted a uni form color, thus adding to the at tractiveness of tilat portion of the city. At Grants Pass tin's is being done, as evidenced by the following press dispatch in a Portland paper: i he large warehouses of this place wliich occupy prominent positions near the depot and in the railroad yards will be decidedly improved by the use of paint and whitewash. This movement has been brought about by the civic improvement workers, who have urged upon the owners or the buildings the necessity of such im provement. When this work has been completed the railroad yards and abutting buildings will have a neat appearance from both local and traveler's, view. The initiatory step in carrying out these plans has been taken by til eGrnats Pass Fruit Ex change, which is now putting two coats of paint on Its packing house. your abstract l. ninny Abstract C-i:-; Givrge II.
